Tips To Increase Conversions On Your Website

Getting traffic to your website is great, but that’s just half the battle. For businesses, traffic to the website means very little unless it generates conversions. Depending on your business, a conversion can be a sale if you have a store, filling out a contact form if you want leads, or a subscription if you have a magazine.

Many businesses almost leave it to fate to convert or not. But optimizing your website for conversions is key if you want your business to succeed.

Here are a few tips to increase conversions on your website.

Make It As Easy As Possible

When asking for information in a contact form, ask for as little as necessary. If it’s an online store, make the purchase process as quick and easy as possible, and do not request user registration to complete the purchase.

Offer Guarantees

There are still lots of people who are skeptical about buying something online. Make sure you include a no-questions-asked refund policy on all purchases. This gives credibility to your business and makes customers confident about buying from you.

Use Testimonials and Reviews

Testimonials, success stories, and positive reviews from satisfied customers are social proof that your services or products are worth the buy and that your business is trustworthy. Customers know that you are trying to sell, so it’s always better to hear how good your business is from somebody else who already tested you.

Include a Clear Value Proposition

Customers are only a couple of clicks away from your competitors so make sure you clearly state what sets you apart and what is so special about your product or service. Highlight the benefits or what problems are solved with your product/service because sometimes customers need an extra push to realize they want/need something.

Create Dedicated Landing Pages

Make sure your website has landing pages tailored to the keywords and search terms that you are targeting. Having a page dedicated to a specific service, product or location allows you to have more relevant and enticing content for organic traffic and direct customers from pay-per-click ads.
